Privacy Policy for Animals Star Tap

Last updated: February 10, 2025

We place your privacy preferences at the very top of our priorities, and throughout this document, we will refer to you simply as "you." This policy has been designed with care to clearly and comprehensively explain how your personal information is gathered, stored, and utilized when you engage with our game¡ªreferred to consistently as the "Application" hereafter. We advise you to read this policy entirely to grasp our privacy standards and practices. Your use of any of our services or launch of the Application signifies your acknowledgment and acceptance of the terms detailed herein.

Information Collection and Usage

We collect various types of information related to your interaction with the Application, as outlined below:

1. Device-Specific Information

To improve your experience with the app, we gather details related to your device and network (the exact data depends on your app usage, privacy settings, and the features you access). This may include SDK/API version, platform type, timestamps, app ID and version, unique device identifier, manufacturer, OS version, language, time zone, and network type (such as Wi-Fi). We also track the app¡¯s status on Google Play, ad-loading methods, ad platforms, and ad delivery IDs. Android ID data from your device¡ªclassified as personal information¡ªis stored to monitor in-app advertising activities.

2. In-Game Interaction Data

Various data points about your in-game behaviors are collected, including (but not limited to) tap frequency, pages or content you view, app launch history, permission settings, feature performance metrics, the number of apps installed on your device, app package names, device brand, network status, firebase_device_id, device model, SIM card country of issuance, system language, and cookies accessible to advertisers. This information is only shared with reliable third-party analytics tools: Firebase, Facebook Analytics, and our internal data system (ECS).

3. Network Connection Details

When using the game with an internet connection, we collect your network type (e.g., Wi-Fi or mobile data) and IP address. This is necessary to ensure the stable operation of the game¡¯s network-related functions.

4. Ad-Related Information

Your Android advertising ID is utilized to deliver personalized ads, and this identifier is solely for advertising and analytics purposes. Importantly, it does not contain sensitive information that could identify you personally, nor is it linked to permanent device identifiers like SSAID, MAC address, or IMEI.

5. Data from Third-Party Monetization and Analytics

Third-party SDKs integrated into the app may access certain user information, including:

l  Google AD ID: Used within Google¡¯s advertising ecosystem.

l  Device data: For example, device type, technical specifications, and the country where the service is accessed.

l  Fraud-prevention data: To detect click fraud and safeguard the integrity of the ad system.

l  Demographic data: Derived from IP analysis to identify location trends.

l  Advertising, marketing, and analytics data: Used by third-party SDKs to optimize campaigns, conduct research, and analyze user behavior.

l  Advertiser-accessible cookies: Stored on your device or retrievable by advertisers.

Data collected by these SDKs is governed by their own privacy policies. Third parties include monetization partners (such as Google Admob, Facebook Audience Network, IronSource) and analytics tools (such as Firebase, Facebook Analytics, and our internal systems). Links to their policies are provided in the "Third-Party Partner Privacy Policies" section below.

Methods of Information Collection

Information is collected through two main methods:

l  Automated In-Game Data Capture: When you open the game, its built-in systems automatically collect the information mentioned above, fully complying with this policy and relevant laws.

l  Data from Third-Party Platforms: If you download the game from a third-party platform (e.g., Google Play Store), we may receive limited information (such as device identifiers and download records) in accordance with the platform¡¯s privacy policy and applicable laws.

Legal Bases for Processing Personal Data

Our handling of your personal data strictly aligns with the objectives of this policy and is based on the following legal frameworks:

l  Explicit User Consent: In some instances, we only process data with your clear permission (e.g., placing non-essential cookies or sharing information for targeted advertising). Note that certain services or features may require this authorized processing to function properly.

l  Contractual Requirement: Processing your personal information is often necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you¡ªfor example, using your registration details to grant you access to the platform and its features.

l  Legitimate Business Interests: We process data to maintain our relationship with you (e.g., sending service updates), enhance service security, and share product information. This enables us to improve our services based on user feedback and enhance the overall experience.

l  Statutory Obligations: We process data to comply with applicable laws (e.g., maintaining financial records that meet accounting requirements, or disclosing information to law enforcement when legally required).

Information Security and Protection

We prioritize the security of your personal information and implement strong safeguards (such as data encryption) to prevent loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Encryption is used for both data storage and transmission to ensure integrity during network transfers.

Strict access controls limit data access and processing to authorized personnel only. Detailed access logs are maintained, and regular audits are conducted to monitor compliance. Our game systems and servers undergo routine security assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities, protecting against threats like hacking and malware.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data, in line with applicable laws:

l  Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent for data processing activities that rely on your prior permission at any time. This does not affect legally compliant processing conducted before withdrawal, nor does it impact actions taken by third parties prior to withdrawal.

l  Right to Access and Modify: You may access the personal information we hold about you and request corrections if necessary, in accordance with applicable laws.

l  Right to Obtain and Rectify Information: Upon formal request, we will provide a free copy of your personal information (unless laws allow a reasonable fee for excessive requests). Access may be restricted if it would harm the legitimate rights of others. If you cannot update inaccurate data through our channels, you may request that we correct it.

l  Right to Request Erasure: You may request the deletion of your personal data if: the data is no longer needed for its original purpose; processing was based on consent you have withdrawn; or you object to processing and we lack compelling legitimate grounds to continue.

l  Right to Restrict Processing: You may request to restrict processing if: you dispute the accuracy of the data (processing will be restricted during verification, which may temporarily affect service access); you oppose unlawful processing and request restriction instead of deletion; you need the data for legal claims after we no longer need it for its original purpose; or during the evaluation of whether our legitimate interests outweigh your objections. Restricted data will only be processed with your consent, for legal claims, to protect third-party rights, or for public interest reasons. We will notify you promptly when restrictions are lifted.

l  Right to Object to Processing: If your data is processed based on consent, contract, or our legitimate interests, you may object under applicable laws. We may only continue processing if it is necessary for legal claims or permitted by law.

l  Notification to Third Parties: If we have shared your data with third parties, we will notify them of your correction, deletion, or restriction requests (unless it is technically unfeasible or overly burdensome). We will also disclose the identities of these third parties upon your request.

l  Right Regarding Automated Decision-Making: Except for legal exemptions, you may avoid decisions based solely on automated processing (including profiling) that could have legal or significant personal impacts.

l  Right to Data Portability: If your data is processed via contract, consent, or automation, you may request it in a structured, machine-readable format. If technically feasible and not prejudicial to others, we will transfer the data directly to another controller as requested.

l  Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, contact us at ndstudio.ltd@gmail.com to resolve the issue. You may also file a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence, employment, or where the violation occurred.

Privacy Rights for EU and UK Residents

Residents of the EU or UK have specific rights under EU data protection regulations:

l  Right to Verify Processing: Request written confirmation of whether we process your data, along with details of the information we hold.

l  Right to Review and Amend: Check the accuracy of your data and update it as needed.

l  Right to Erasure: Request the deletion of your data from our databases.

l  Right to Restrict Processing: Ask us to stop processing if we lack a lawful basis.

l  Right to Portability: Obtain your data in a machine-readable format for transfer or independent management.

To exercise these rights, send an email to ndstudio.ltd@gmail.com. We will respond within one month. If you believe we have violated data protection laws, you may also file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Privacy Rights for California Residents

California residents have additional protections under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA); this section applies only to you (all others should refer to the main policy). To exercise these rights, see "Exercising Your California Privacy Rights" below.

l  Right to Disclosure and Access: You may obtain details about personal information we collected in the past 12 months, including: categories of data collected; sources of the data; business purposes for collection; and specific data we hold about you.

l  Right to Request Deletion: Upon a verifiable request, we will delete your data and instruct service providers to do the same¡ªexcept if we or third parties need the data for: providing your requested services; fixing system errors; complying with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act; conducting public or peer-reviewed research (in the public good, compliant with ethics and privacy rules); or fulfilling legal obligations.

l  Data Retention: We may retain your data longer if you provided consent (and have not withdrawn it) or to meet legal obligations. If the game ceases operations, all personal data will be permanently deleted.

l  Processing Requests: We aim to respond to verifiable requests within 45 days (extendable to 90 days with notification and explanation). We do not charge fees unless requests are excessive or repetitive, in which case we will explain the rationale and provide a cost estimate first.

l  Non-Discrimination: Exercising your CCPA rights will not result in unfair treatment (e.g., denied service, discriminatory pricing, or lower-quality service).

l  Minors¡¯ Data: Our services are not intended for users under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we inadvertently collect data from users under 13, we will delete it immediately. Parents or guardians of minors under 13 should contact us to remove such data. Users aged 13¨C16 require explicit opt-in consent; their parents or guardians may also contact us with concerns.

Children¡¯s Privacy

Protecting children¡¯s privacy is a key priority for us. We encourage parents and guardians to monitor their children¡¯s online activities. If your child shared personal information without authorization, please contact us immediately¡ªwe will permanently delete the data.
